Climate researchers can't check WeatherBug every minute, but the more data they have, the better they are able to model climate trends and learn how we affect and are affected by our environment. Help improve urban planning and the understanding of Baltimore?s climate by sending them the weather conditions right now at our six selected sites. You can compare these temperatures to some taken the night before. To learn more about what effects may be contributing to temperature differences between WeatherBug stations, visit our ?Urban Heat Island? Education page.

Below is a satellite image of Baltimore and its surrounding area, provided by Google Maps. The red markers point to our WeatherBug weather stations.

Click on any of the markers to see temperature, humidity and wind speed data for all six stations. The data will appear in a box on the right side of your screen.

The 'Live' column shows you weather conditions at the instant you clicked on the marker. The 'Last Night' column shows you what the conditions were at 9:00 PM last night. How are they different? What factors may be influencing the temperature differences?

Click 'Submit' to send the data to our urban climatologists. If you are logged in as a registered user, you can view all of the data you?ve submitted by clicking 'My Data' in the top right of your screen.
